ASU Prep will use the info provided to complete the Teacher Experience configuration.

4: General FAQ

Q: I’m all done with the documented steps, what’s next?

A: ASU Prep needs to approve the integration request in order for the first sync to initiate. Following that, ASU Prep needs to complete the Teacher Experience dashboard and set up access for applicable teachers. Then you should be good to go!

Q: How do I get my ASU Prep Learning Blocks?

A: One of our team members will facilitate the import of the course master blueprints, which can then be cloned and assigned to classes.

Q: What is the Teacher Experience portal and what can I do with it?

A: The portal provides teachers with the ability to view their student progress by seeing their individual Checkpoint scores, instead of their total scores. Teachers can also view a student’s Learning Block to see exactly how it was completed by the student. It’s also possible to unlock a Learning Block to enable textbook like browsing without forced sequential progression. Other features include a student preview button, an answers key button, and a variety of information about the contents and standards of a Learning Block. Teachers are sent a welcome email with links to the user guide, which describe the features above in greater detail.

Q: Which devices are supported and what are the system requirements?

A: Any desktop or laptop running the latest version of Windows 10, Windows 11, MacOS, and ChromeOS. Additional requirements are as follows:

  • Supported Operating Systems: Windows 10 and higher. MacOS 10.12.6 and higher. ChromeOS.

  • Supported Browsers: Chrome, Edge, Safari with the latest Javascript Framework.

  • Minimum Resolution: 1024x768.

  • Audio Output device. Example: Speakers.

  • Stable internet connection, downstream speeds at least 10mbps.

  • Mouse or Trackpad.

  • Full QWERTY Keyboard.

For the best experience, and to ensure compatibility, the latest OS and browser updates are recommended.

Note: At this time, the Learning Cloud does not support tablets or phones. Ie. iPads, iPhone, Galaxy Phone, Galaxy Tabs, Fire Tablets, etc.

5: Troubleshooting

Q: Why am I unable to see my Classes in the Teacher Experience dashboard?

A: When teacher accounts are created, it takes a few hours for the initial sync to roster classes and enrolled users. If classes do not populate within 24 hours, reach out to your ASU Partnerships Representative.

Q: I waited 24 hours, why am I unable to view my classes in the Teacher Experience dashboard?

A: If your email is an alias, we might need to change it. Your Teacher Experience email address needs to match the email address you use to access your LMS, like Canvas. Reach out to your ASU Partnerships Representative to help submit an IT request.

Q: I am not able to launch a lesson, why do I see error “CLASS_NOT_SHARED”?

A: Our integrations partner secures all student sessions only to those enrolled in that particular class, though the roster may need to be synced. Follow the steps here to initiate a sync. By the way, a sync automatically occurs once every 24 hours.

Q: My student completed a Learning Block, but didn’t receive a grade, what can I do?

A: Grades pass back only when a Learning Block is totally completed, or if points are earned any time in an unlocked Learning Block. The first thing for a student to check is the progress rings in the Section Nav by clicking the menu button on the top left of the Learning Block. If any section is incomplete, the student should click through it to see which interactive was not completed.

Q: A video is supposed to play in a Learning Block, but it says it's blocked, how can I view it?

Q: All images and audio clips are no longer working, and they’re just a line, what should I do?

A: Image and audio assets are hosted on a separate domain. Ask your IT department to whitelist https://lcserver.live

Q: Why are some buttons or interactives not working?

A: It may be helpful to try to clear your browser cache. Ensure that you’re using a device with a compatible operating system and browser. If you or a student continue to experience content issues, reach out to your ASU Prep Partnerships Representative.
